Club News
What a special day, we had twenty plus members that participated in the escort of “The Wall That Heals” Vietnam Travelling Tribute.
The morning started with Jim Arrabito’s two types of Biscotti, and Carol Wise’s car event Cookies, wonderful as always. Thank you.
I’d like to thank Dan Foskett for coming up with the idea for Vietnam Veterans attending with Hot Rods to be placed right behind the Escort Truck.
There were a total of four, Non-members included, Rick Nelson and Clayton Swanson, and our Raker members Glenn Davis and John Thomas.
The Salmon club gave us permission to park our cars and we filled it up, thanks to Don Roger’s, George Esquiro and Jason Franklin for
quickly responding to move their vehicles allowing a Salmon Club member to get his truck out when returning from fishing.
The Escort had First Responders, Local Police and Sheriffs Department vehicles at front and back for safety.
Rick Crawford, Vietnam Veteran pulled the Ghost Rider Motorcycle of Local Vietnam Veteran Charles Fauls,
who passed in April, he had hoped to ride in the Escort and helped getting the Wall to Port Townsend.
The entrance into Jefferson County Airport had two privately owned Fire Ladder Trucks fully extended and
supporting a large American Flag between them. Thank You to Member Justin Clouse and Non-member Mick.
After pictures at Airport it was announced that Jefferson County had more Motorcycles and Classic Cars then any other Escort of the Wall.
We had several Members from the Military of different Eras that participated today,
and I know we have many other Club Members who weren’t available. We appreciate you all.
I believe this is the largest Membership Gathering we have had to date.
We need to give ourselves a big round of  applause for such a wonderful day.
Joe
